Automate 2025 has come and gone, and what a memorable experience it was. Returning to Detroit this year, we brought more than just ourbrand new demo system…we introduced RoboClip™, Innovative Automation’s newest solution for automated clip insertion.

As the first standardized, patent-pending robotic taping system on the market, RoboTape has shown what’s possible when automation is built around real manufacturing needs. This year’s show gave us a chance to reflect on the progress we’ve made in improving ergonomics, reducing waste, and increasing consistency.

More importantly, it gave us the opportunity to share what’s next.

Rooted in Innovation, Built to Solve

While RoboTape has grown into its own business unit, it still shares the same foundation that shaped its early development at Innovative Automation. RoboClip is the latest result of that mindset. It was designed to address another critical challenge on the production line by combining smart automation with standardized design.

Having both systems in our booth helped us demonstrate how our approach to automation continues to deliver scalable and reliable solutions for manufacturers.

What Made Automate Special

Automate has always been more than just a tradeshow. It’s a place where ideas are exchanged, future trends are shaped, and real connections are made. For us, it’s where RoboTape first launched, and this year it served as the perfect platform to introduce RoboClip to the world.

Being back on the floor reminded us why this event matters. We had the chance to speak directly with manufacturers, engineers, integrators, and decision-makers—people who truly understand the challenges of modern production and are actively looking for smarter ways to solve them.

The energy in our booth was incredible. From live demos and technical deep-dives to casual conversations about day-to-day manufacturing challenges, the engagement reaffirmed that our solutions are hitting the mark. We heard valuable feedback, answered tough questions, and left with new ideas and partnerships we’re excited to pursue.

Automate wasn’t just about showing off new technology. It was about joining a wider conversation on where the industry is headed—and how intelligent, standardized automation like RoboTape and RoboClip can lead the way.
